Cimarrón Reposado Tequila is distilled from 100% estate-grown blue weber agave and produced at Tequileña Distillery, in the town of Atotonico el Alto. Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca developed a proprietary technique of crushing the cooked piñas (agave hearts) without the use of water. This results in a mash with a higher sugar content than most other tequilas. This rested (reposado) tequila is bottled after aging in between 3 to 6 months in American white oak.
