We’ve always loved working with Superflux because they (were) just so damn good looking. Now that the industry has worn them down, we’re starting to realize we actually like them for their personality too.
We first met Superflux before they were even Machine Ales operating out of Callister. Adam Henderson of “The Flux” (as he has tattooed on his lower back) also owns a distribution company called Copper & Theory who first introduced Steel & Oak to the Alberta market. Ampersands were super in back then.
The 4th version of Boomerang Double IPA is just as expensive as the first 3 which is why we don’t do it that often. So, we’ve cleared out our savings account (we actually don’t have one) and purchased a boatload of Vic Secret, Eclipse, Riwaka and Citra (because everyone loves Citra) and put it into this big, bold, hazy Double IPA.
