Natural Sparkling Orange Wine
Vinification method: A blend of fruit from the Trail Estate Vineyard. Harvested according to flavour and balance at different times throughout the fall. Geisenheim was hand destemmed and fermented on skins. Gewurztraminer was fermented whole cluster under a blanket of carbon dioxide. All varieties were pressed together when the Chardonnay was harvested and rested in tank until bottling at the end of October. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with no addition of sulphur.
Tasting notes: A sparkling wine with bright natural acidity characteristic of Prince Edward County. Layers of pear, green apple and lime, backed with yeasty notes. Full bubbles carry this wine forward with a mouthwatering finish.
