A lighter bodied yet expressively mature red that does not disappoint on complexity, showing all kinds of red and black fruit with a savoury personality of thyme, leather, cigar bcx, and dried berries. The Negre even offers notes of orange peel, mint, and a peppery earthiness as it breathes. Fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeast in Suriol's underground concrete tanks for twelve months, this beautiful red is everything you hope a traditional mediterranean table wine will be: rustic, unique, and not too boozy.
