'Flower Power' Blended Cider

Flowers are a gateway to another place. The aromas of less encountered blossoms remind us of places away from home. 

Marigolds are citrus and spice. 

Pineapple flowers are, well, pineapple-y. They don't come from pineaple plants, they are a plant related to chamomile. 

We grew both of these flowers in our own garden, organically. We made a tincture with each, and added them to a barrel aged cider from Ida Red apples. 

It smells like aged honey, lemon zest and orange creamsicles, garnished with chamomile blossoms. It is pure joy on your tongue.
