The Alora Pilsner is hopped exclusively with Alora hops. Alora is an exciting varietal introduced just this year. Notably it contains significant quantities of Selinene, rarely found in hops and more commonly seen in yuzu fruit and calamondin oranges. Alora hops also contain an elevated amount of thiol precursors, which when brewed correctly in beers such as hazy IPAs, convert to delicious tropical notes.
The tasting notes we get in the Alora Pilsner are golden kiwi, peach, apricot, and a clean and pleasant lingering malt presence on the finish. It's a bright and refreshing lager with an impressive array of tropical and stone fruit character.
