Natural Red Wine
Fiercely Zero Zero with no added Sulphur, Sébastien Morin started his wine journey learning from mythical Jura producer Jean-Marc Brignot, and adapted his style in a similar way with respect to long, slow presses and racking by gravity.
Farming a small patch of 1.5 hectares in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières in Beaujolais, as well as buying some Negoce grapes to help satisfy the demand for his wines. From a 70-year-old plot of Gamay planted on sandy granitic soil. A mix of whole bunches and de-stemmed grapes were left to macerate for 2 months before being pressed into barrel. It has a smoked aftertaste, a little spicy.
