The No.1 requested brew over the past nine months has been a red ale and we have finally delivered. As classic of a red as it gets, malty, crisp, hopped with a selection of German and UK standards that provide light floral and herbal hop notes, with roasted barley that shines through to give it that classic red backbone. Our only regret is not calling it Ricky’s Red, but just couldn’t fathom the potential legal ramifications of that.
As always, @paulgeorgehammond ran with the artwork and came up with a very Richard Scarry feeling concept. We have begun to create lore behind the characters in the artwork. The dog is carried over from Liquorsauce and Crosstown Cooldown and we are introducing the kitty and businessman trash panda for the first time.
