Created in celebration of International Women’s Day, this bright and bold White IPA was brewed by the talented women at Troubled Monk for all of you risk takers and troublemakers.
Brewed by our amazing, talented brewers Megan and Baily, this beer is crafted in honour of the Famous Five Canadian women who stood up for equality for all in 1929. Almost 100 years ago, these strong, empowered females trail-blazed in the fight for justice. Their courage and battle reminds us that progress doesn’t happen independently; it requires boldness, determination and the motivation to change the status quo.
A portion of the proceeds raised from the sales of Famous Five go towards supporting CAWES (Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter). This contribution aids in purchasing essential items like beds and hygiene products, helping to provide comfort and support to women and children in need within the central Alberta community.
