Lightly fruity, mildly bitter, fully crisp.
Kölsches are a hybrid style, using ale yeast at warmer fermenting temperatures but conditioned at lager temperatures (colder). This lends a subtle, clean fruitiness that is balanced perfectly with a crisp, dry finish and the medium-mild bitterness of the Magnum and Tettnang hops. It's a style we love, and we think we got this one just right. Unfortunatley, we didn't have any stanges to pour it in the traditional style for the photos. You'll just have to do that yourself.
