This time around the sun we got together at Irrational to brew another beer with our friends from Polyrhythm. For those who are unaware, Irrational beer is made under the influence of heavy metal music. To stick with Polyrhythm’s music branding we wanted to bring something from the dark arts. Visceral Haze is an uber-saturated TDH Hazy IPA coming in at an appropriate 6.66% ABV. Our malt base consists of Alberta’s finest from Hogarth Malt & Red Shed Malting and fermented with Saturated from Yeast Canada. The hops take center stage with a blend of T90, Cryo, and oil products from Yakima Chief & Freestyle Hops. Whirlpooled with Krush and a triple dry hop of Motueka, Citra Cryo, Krush, & Nelson Subzero Hop Kief bring the total hopping rate to a whopping 35g/L, one of our largest and most aggressive to date in a single hazy.
