Barrel-Aged Beer w/ Apricots

JUICY, SLATE, APRICOT DELIGHT
Squish a ripe apricot in your hand, smash it in your face... you just had this beer. But seriously, this beer slaps. Balanced acidity and hop bitterness, along with a contribution of tropical aromas and flavors from the Wild IPA used in the blend compliment the apricot juiciness. Apricot beers can become extremely acidic, but I think we nailed this one by using a slightly lower %/weight fruit than we have in the past, and utilizing barrels that have little to no acidity, namely 2x Brett Saison barrels and a single barrel of IPA. Cannot wait.
