Alfredo Maestro, beginning, in 1998, took place in a family garage in Peñafiel (Valladolid), where everything was manual, no machines. Little by Little the first wines began to be sold in the same garage, but quickly it became too small. Now he's found success all over the globe while being mainly biodynamic or no intervention (depending on the year), traditional thumb pruning with two buds, mulch whenever possible, mulch with straw and biofertilizers.
A powerful Tempranillo wine from vineyards with clay soils, aged for 12 months. A classic in which you always fall in love. Several vineyards along the Ribera del Duero, from almost 750 meters of altitude to almost 1,000 meters. The soils vary from red clays, alluvium and limestone.
